Bradley McDuffie Presents Papers at Literature and Language Conferences

Bradley McDuffie, Instructor of English, presented a two-part paper entitled, “‘The Honored Dead’: War and Peace in The Stories of Breece D’J Pancake.”  Part one was delivered October 2010 (7-9) at the American Literature Association in Savannah, GA.  Part two of the paper was delivered at the South Atlantic Modern Language Association’s Convention on November 2010 (5-7) in Atlanta, GA.

An excerpt of his article “For Ernest With Love and Squalor: The Influence of Ernest Hemingway Upon the Life and Work of J.D. Salinger," was published in the Kansas City Staron Hemingway’s birthday, July 18, 2010.  McDuffie presented a version of the paper at the 14th Biannual Hemingway Conference in Lausanne, Switzerland June 25-July 3, 2010.  The full article will appear in the forthcoming Hemingway Review.
