Dr. Vilma Balmaceda, Director of the Center for Scholarship and Global Engagement & Associate Professor of Political Science, publishes “What Does the Lord Require of Us…When Migrant Children are Crossing the Border?” in the Journal of Latin American Theology: Christian Reflections from the Latino South (2015, Vol. 10, No. 1).

This biannual English-language publication of the Latin American Theological Fellowship brings Protestant thinking from Latin America into dialogue with the church around the world.

Dr. Balmaceda analyzes the problem of the more than 68,000 unaccompanied children that keep coming to the United States of America from Latin America.
