Dr. Romaine delivers keynote at Wheaton art symposium

Dr. James Romaine, Associate Professor of Art History, delivered the keynote paper at a symposium on the state of art history held at Wheaton College on October 6th 2012. The event was entitled, Art as Spiritual Perception: A Conference in Honor of E. John Walford.

Presenting along with Christian scholars in the field of art history affiliated with Calvin College, Cornell University, Fuller Theological Seminary, Rutgers University, University of Chicago, and Wheaton College, Dr. Romaine discussed the opportunities and challenges facing Christians in the field of art history and how a Christian worldview could be brought to methods of scholarship.
