Dr. K. Kale Yu, Assistant Professor of History, delivered a paper at the New York Conference on Asian Studies at the State University of New York New Paltz, Sept 28-29, 2012. The conference theme was "Contesting Tradition."

Dr. Yu's paper, "Confucianism and Korean Christianity: Religious Reflection and Cultural Analysis,” examined Korean Christianity in the early twentieth century and analyze its relationship with Korean Confucianism.
