Dr. Mayra Lopez-Humpheys, Assistant Professor of Social Work, has been included in the Emerging Voices cohort sponsored by Sojourners. Jim Wallis, President and CEO of Sojourners, refers to this group as “the next generation of faithful leaders articulating the biblical call to social justice.”

The primary goal of the project is to mentor, develop, and promote the best and the brightest up-and-coming communicators who are called to publicly articulate the biblical call to social justice.
