Dr. Vilma "Nina" Balmaceda, Director of the Center for Scholarship and Global Engagement and Associate Professor of Political Science, was featured as a keynote speaker at the 2102 Annual Peacemaker Conference that took place on September 13-16 in Denver, Colorado.

Also, Dr. Balmaceda and Mr. Chip Zimmer, Peacemaker's Vicepresident for Global Ministries, led two workshops on "Peacemaking and the Pursuit of Justice."
