Nyack, NY- Head Baseball Coach Matt Cornacchione has announced the signing of Freedom High School's SS/Pitcher John "Trey" Huss to a National Letter of Intent. Huss, who will make the trip north from Orlando, FL next fall was referred to the Warriors by former baseball assistant coach Steven Crabtree, who coached at Nyack during the 2010 season.
Quoting Coach Cornacchione, "We are expecting Trey to be a very large part of our program right away. He is an extremely versatile player that can fill any position in the field and also throw significant innings on the mound. We're excited about what he is going to bring to this team and our school for the next four years."
Huss has hit over .350 and has posted ERA's under 2.00 during his junior and senior seasons.
