Nyack, NY-  Head Baseball Coach Matt Cornacchione is pleased to announce the signing of outfielder Patrick Sheldrick  of Central Regional High School to a National Letter of Intent.   Patrick is a four year varsity letter winner and a two year varsity starter who batted .382, had 26 hits, 6 doubles, 1 homerun, and 21 runs batted in during his junior year in which he lead the GoldenEagles to the South Jersey State Sectional Semi-Finals and second place in the Shore Conference “B” South.   Through 18 games this spring, Patrick is hitting at a .475 clip with 21 rbi's in his senior campaign.

Central Regional Coach John Scran says that "Pat is a extremely hard working young man on the baseball field and in the classroom.  Pat has committed himself to his love of baseball since a young boy and has grown the past 6 years that i was fortunate enough to have coach him from Middle School to High School."

Coach Cornacchione states that "Patrick was referred to us by Nyack baseball alumni and former coach Josh Norton.  He does alot of things offensively that will continue to translate into success for him at the college level.  He has the potential to develop into a very solid all-around player for us, and we're looking forward to him getting to us next fall."
