Baseball Rolls Over Caldwell 10-5

Nyack, NY- The men's baseball team batted off their third consecutive victory in as many nights as the Warriors defeated Caldwell College by a score of 10-5. The Warriors third win of the week moves their overall record to 6-20 on the season.
With the game tied at 5-5 in the bottom of the fifth, Nyack would regain a 6-5 lead in the fifth and add on with a 4-spot in the bottom of the 7th before holding on for the 10-5 victory.
Eric Lloyd would pick up his first win of the season for the Warriors, going 7 1/3 innings and allowing 3 earned and striking out 1. The Nyack offense would put up season highs in hits with 16 and runs with 10. PJ Rodriguez would lead the offensive outburst with 4 hits and 2 stolen bases. JD Calabrese would finish the day 3 for 5 with 3 rbi's, including his first collegiate homerun in the bottom of the fifth. Mike Frank, Jonathan Mott (3 rbi's), Luis Caceres and Carlos Hidalgo would all finish the day with 2 hits.
The Warriors return to non-conference action this Monday when they host St. Thomas Aquinas at 7 PM.
