Nyack Albany Campus offers one program of study. For the student wondering if he will ever finish his bachelor’s degree, Nyack Albany Campus offers the Adult Degree Completion Program (ADCP). Designed to meet the specific needs of adult learners, the Degree Completion Program enables students who have earned 60 transferable semester or 90 transferable quarter college credits to complete a Bachelor of Science degree in as little as fourteen months. This program is offered in the evenings so that working adults can gain college education while continuing fulltime employment.
The program has the following characteristics:
- The program is specifically designed for the educational needs of adult learners
- Courses are accelerated and modular (students enroll in one course at a time)
- Courses meet just one night per week
- Courses are offered at our convenient location at 105 Wolf Road in Albany
- Students study in cohorts or groups that go through the program together
- Faculty model the combination of academic expertise and practical experience
- The program is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. It is also chartered by the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York
