When should I arrive?
Answer: The residence halls will open for residential students at 1pm, on Sunday September 1st. All other students are invited to join us on campus starting at 4pm. We are looking forward to meeting you!
Where do I go when I arrive on campus?
Answer: All cars will be greeted and sent in the correct direction towards your residence hall. Please be sure to have your Xpress pass and your housing assignment if known. There will be JUMPmasters all along the way to help you.
How do I know if I am an XPRESS Pass student?
Answer: You will receive an actual XPRESS Pass from Nyack College. You must bring this Pass with you on Registration Day. Please do whatever it takes to get an XPRESS Pass because without one the Registration Process could take several hours. Call your Admissions Counselor today to ask what you need to do to complete the XPRESS process.
What should I expect from JUMP (Orientation)?
Answer: The goal of JUMP is to simply do whatever it takes to complete the Registration Process. You can expect to stand in a few lines, meet a lot of new people, move your stuff into your dorm room, eat some amazing food, take part in some activities with other JUMP participants, and to sweat…a lot!
Can I move into my Residence Hall when I arrive?
Answer: Once you arrive at your residence hall, our JUMPmasters will be there to help you with your next step. They will either direct you to start moving in, or to check with the residence hall first.
What are the rules about what I can bring into my room?

Are meals free for me and my family?
Answer: We are inviting you and your family to join us for our outdoor street fair from 4pm - 6:30pm. Where you can eat, play, and meet some new friends.
Are JUMP activities required?
Answer: Yes, all jump activities are required for all students, both residential and commuter students.
